Richard Pardon looks at the time he has spent with the team, chats about his career so far and provides insights into his work on and off the circuit. In the podcast, Pardon reveals that he will always remember the team’s first podium in Diriyah (SA).
“I grew up with motorsport and I've always loved it. Having the opportunity to combine photography with motorsport now is just the ultimate gig,” said Pardon. “Without a doubt, the best part of the job is the team, which made me feel like I’m a part from it from the beginning. It is a great joy to travel around the world with people who I now call friends.”
Pardon, who drives a Porsche Cayman GT4, had already worked for Porsche before making the move to work in Formula E. He was the photographer for the world debuts of the Porsche Cayenne Coupé and the Porsche Taycan, as well as capturing the maiden drives of the Porsche 911 GT2 RS and the Porsche 718 Spyder. “I have always been a Porsche fan. Being able to play a small part in the history of Porsche is a real career highlight for me. I hope that I will be able to walk through the museum in Stuttgart one day and see my work hanging on the walls.”
