Aksel Lund Svindal

He is one of the most successful ski racers of modern times and a car guy: Aksel Lund Svindal. The journey as Porsche brand ambassador has started for the two-time Olympic champion in his Norwegian homeland – at the international press launch event of the new Porsche Taycan.

Aksel Lund Svindal is known as an exceptional sportsman with a down-to-earth mentality. Svindal is a two-time Olympic champion and has been successful in a total of 17 World Cup seasons during his career as professional ski racer.

He is a record winner in his native Norway and a multi-talented skier who also counts five World champion titles and two overall World Cup victories. Svindal stands for top sporting performance, stamina, hard work and dynamic. Even after numerous injuries, the exceptional athlete repeatedly fought his way back to the world elite. In addition with his true passion for sports cars, Svindal embodies the Porsche brand and its values perfectly.

Early on Aksel Lund Svindal has started cooperation’s with startups that are focusing on sustainability and environmental topics. After his end of career in 2019 he is concentrating on another heartfelt wish: Porsche and sports cars. This success story started in his hometown Oslo at the international press launch event of the Taycan: Porsche announced Aksel Lund Svindal as new brand ambassador.
