Paul Casey has been one of the world's top golfers for around two decades. In his debut year on the European Tour 2000, he made it into the top 25 overall rankings, earning him the Sir Henry Cotton Rookie of the Year Award. He subsequently worked his way up to third place in the world rankings. The Englishman, who has lived in Scottsdale, Arizona, for many years, has represented the European team five times in the prestigious Ryder Cup, triumphing three times (2004, 2006, 2018).
He celebrated a total of 15 titles on the European Tour, including the Porsche European Open 2019 – a special victory for the Porsche fan: "As a little boy I dreamed of two things: I wanted to become a golf professional and drive Porsche sports cars. It makes me incredibly happy to be able to actually live these dreams," says Casey, who was named player of the season in 2006.
Since 2004 Casey has also been active on the US PGA Tour, where he has collected three tournament victories to date. In the four majors, he has twelve top ten finishes and most recently the regular in the world’s top 30 caused quite a stir with three top ten finishes in a span of five majors 2020 and 2021. Since 2020, Casey has been a member of the 16-member PGA Tour Player Advisory Council and is also an ambassador for Unicef.
