By supporting up-and-coming players in the Porsche Talent Team since 2012, Porsche has transferred its successful juniors programme in motorsport to tennis. In close collaboration with the “Deutsche Tennis Bund” (DTB – the German Tennis Association), the primary intention of the support is to make the set-up for talented juniors more professional by enhancing individual coaching and guidance both when practicing and at tournaments. Through the intensive system of fostering promising youngsters, Porsche would like to give such players help when taking their difficult first steps on the professional tour.

A chance for up-and-coming players – fostering youngsters is also very important for Porsche in tennis. In addition to the Porsche Talent Team, which aims to support young players stepping up to the pro tour, the Porsche Junior Team forms the second pillar. Porsche and the “Deutsche Tennis Bund” (DTB – the German Tennis Association) therefore provide better training facilities and a more intensive coaching for the talented U-18 juniors.
